Tokyo Haneda Airport (RJTT / HND) is Tokyo's primary domestic airport and, since 2010, an increasingly important international gateway as well. Built on reclaimed land in Tokyo Bay just south of central Tokyo, Haneda operates four runways and is one of the busiest airports in the world. Watch live spotter feeds above.
Tokyo Haneda Airport's ICAO code is RJTT and its IATA code is HND.
Haneda is on reclaimed land in Tokyo Bay, in Ōta, Tokyo, only about 14 km (9 miles) south of central Tokyo — much closer to the city than Narita.
Haneda operates four runways: 04/22, 16L/34R, 16R/34L, and 05/23.
Both serve Tokyo. Haneda is much closer to central Tokyo and historically focused on domestic flights, while Narita historically handled most international traffic. Today Haneda runs a substantial international long-haul schedule of its own.
